Residential Care Facilities (RCFE)
Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) provide varying levels and intensities of care and supervision, personal care and/or protective supervision on a 24-hour basis, generally for residents over 60 years of age. RCFE is a licensing category under the State of California, Department of Social Services. “Independent Living”, "Retirement Facilities" and "Board and Care" are also included in the RCFE category.
